For One Moment - Little Snippets of my Life and Art...

Good morning my friends!   Just a bit more Gelli Plate and Stencil play this weekend.  Card using Interlocking Leaves 6x9 stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and Art Anthology Splashed Clear Coat to add sparkle over a Distress Ink Gelli print. A simple but elegant card for any occasion.  Gelli Print with Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks Taped Stencil down with painters tape so that glaze would apply smoothly.   The sparkle is gorgeous, even if it doesn't show up in the picture very well. The word hello was created on my Cricut Maker. I cut out 4 copies and layered them on top of each other to give it some dimension.  Once layered, I colored the word with Wink of Stella Clear, to give it a little shimmer.  I attached the word with foam tape to the layered card and it's ready to go!

Life has been hectic the last year or so, and I have missed my blog and my creative community.  I hope to get back to blogging and sharing my creations on a more regular basis.  I had planned to clean and organize my desk, but just couldn't resist a bit of play with my stencils from  A Colorful Life Designs  and the Tim Holtz Distress ink pads, rub-ons and Chit Chat stickers that were laying on my desk while I sorted and put things away.   I started with a gelli print from a stack that I had in a basket on my desk.  I just chose complementing colors of Distress Inks and used what was within my reach on my desk.  Nothing special...just a little bit of play time.   It felt good to just play and make a mess, since I knew I was going to be cleaning it all up in just a bit anyway.
