Tim Holtz -Tag Tags of 2013
March
When Tim posted his March tag for the 12 Tags of 2013 I knew I was going to have to do some major improvising because although I have a lot of Tim Holtz products in my stash, the only things I had this time was the Foliage and Memo Pins.
It took me a few days to wrap my head around it...
but in the end I'm really happy with how my tag turned out
and it was nice to have some creative time at my art desk.
Thanks for stopping in and feel free to leave me a comment and let you me know you stopped by!

Then in the meantime "Sneakers" my Quality Control Officer joined me to keep an eye on things and make sure I was doing it right. |
Forgot to take a picture of the tag by itself...so here it is with the grass attached. The background was created by rubbing distress inks on my craft mat, spritzing with water. Then I dried it with a heat gun and added some Walnut Stain and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks to pull it all together. |
I tucked a little green butterfly from K & Company which is also from the Engraved Garden Ephemera Pack into the grass. |
I don't have any Distress Paints yet, so I pulled out my Perfect Pigments from USArtQuest and they worked like a charm and gave me the same enameled look after I dried them with the heat gun. |
...and here are my little flowers that will peak out of the grass. The flowers are actually Tomato Pearl red and Bright Yellow...but the camera didn't capture the yellow very well. |
I tucked in the flowers and added some Recollections bling for the trails and tied some more ribbon on the top and called it DONE!! |
