Project 30 - Day 7 - January 21, 2007

Spent the morning cleaning...was really tempted to take a picture of the vacuum cleaner, but decided not!
I did take a picture of the plate of cookies that I baked the kids...although by then they had eaten half of them.



Dwayne is needing a new truck...after the kids had their fill of cookies we headed out the door to look at trucks. Our son loves Mustangs...so he and I took a look at those too.







On the way home it was getting a close to dusk, so we stopped at the local park to see if there was anything worth capturing.

This is a Dragon Boat. Three towns border on this lake and every year out town host Dragon Boat races.



A sea plane was practicing take off and landings. It was circling fast and the light was fading fast. I snapped off a few shots and liked this one. I ran it through PS with Red Paw Media's free RMP Beautifier. Gives it a ghostly plane in the mist look.



By then it was time to call it a night and I snapped a few of the evening sky. It has a beautiful orange glow as the sun set.

This is Momma Cat. She adopted us a couple of years ago when she needed a home for her kitties. She's guarding a lizard that she'd been playing with and wasn't quite sure whether I was after it or not. We are having our two weeks of Winter these days with cold, gray skies and blustery wind. Tim Holtz -Tag Tags of 2013

March When Tim posted his March tag for the 12 Tags of  2013  I knew I was going to have to do some major improvising because although I have a lot of Tim Holtz products in my stash, the only things I had this time was the Foliage and Memo Pins.   It took me a few days to wrap my head around it... but in the end I'm really happy with how my tag turned out  and it was nice to have some creative time at my art desk. Thanks for stopping in and feel free to leave me a comment and let you me know you stopped by! Anna I didn't have the Fringe Die so I  cut my grass by hand.  I looked at the picture of the die and sized my grass to match  Tim's.  I had Green Co-ordinations but not the Kraft one...so my grass is green on both sides of the fence.  I sanded the paper first and then gave it a good dose of Walnut Stain Distress Ink before cutting.  Then after I put it on my tag, I gave it a little hint of Picked Raspberry. What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday ? Just a quick peek at my desk today.  I'm working on a project that I can't really show yet...so I'm just going to show you the what I've used so far and one little tiny peek into the project.
